Philanthropy
Philanthropy has been a rewarding space that has helped me understand both the positive impacts grantmaking can have on marginalised communities but also the disconnection philanthropic bodies can have with communities. This space is still developing and I am grateful to have the opportunity to advocate for the needs of financial investment in both Pasifika, young people and South/West Auckland communities.

Foundation North - Pacific Future Makers Fund
In 2019, I was approached by the team at Foundation North to take part in the opportunity to be a part of the first participatory grant where young Pasifika people had the opportunity to partner with Foundation North to revision the space of the grantmaking process.
